Operation and provision for use of the Shar - Ust-Kamenogorsk Station railway line and other railway infrastructure facilities

The Company is expected to be included in the Privatization Plan for 2021-2025 in accordance with the established procedure.

Further, JSC NC KTZh will begin all the necessary procedures to determine the term and method of transferring Dosjan Temir Zholy JSC to the competitive environment.

ESG factors are provided by the Development Strategy of JSC NC KTZh until 2029 within the framework of the strategic goal “ensuring sustainable development”, which consists of three initiatives:

- Improving social stability and human resource development: create the most favorable conditions for the life and work of its employees, providing them with a full social package and the opportunity to train and improve professional skills; improve the living conditions of the population of Kazakhstan by creating new jobs, reducing the transport component, increasing the mobility of the population and implementing charitable projects. In 2021 the average monthly salary of employees was increased by 20% and in 2022 by 25-35% to improve the material well-being of the Company’s employees.

- Environmental sustainability: minimization of the negative impact on the environment is achieved by the Company through rational consumption of natural resources, consistent reduction of emissions, discharges of pollutants, reduction of waste generation and reuse, as well as the use of energy-saving technologies

Updating corporate governance: improving the effectiveness of the risk management system, internal control, sustainable development and transparency of activities. Based on results of the independent diagnostics of corporate governance, the corporate governance rating of the Company was assessed at the “BB” level.
