StopFakeIPO is a project initiated by Samruk-Kazyna JSC and KazMunayGas NC JSC in order to prevent scammers who speculate on the subject of IPO.

The project will provide you with official reliable information about the real possibility of participation in the IPO, how to recognize scammers and not to fall victim to them.

How do scammers operate?

Currently, scammers use primarily Internet resources: they create fake websites and pages in social networks, run Internet ads and send emails.

The scammers offer Kazakhstanis to invest money in the allegedly national company KazMunayGas and promise a quick profit from the sale of oil and gas. This is a fraud. Do not trust any promises of fast and 100% profits.

Remember, investing in stocks is an investment for the future. No one can predict the exact behavior of the market, so it's possible to both make and lose an investment in the stock market. Promising a quick profit is a sign of fraud.

When will KazMunayGas IPO take place?

The IPO of NC "KazMunayGas" JSC will take place in 2022. The initial public offering of NC "KazMunayGas" JSC shares will be made on AIX and KASE platforms. For these purposes "Samruk-Kazyna JSC" in cooperation with NC "KazMunayGas" JSC have involved the leading Kazakhstan investment banks.

The Fund plans to make the IPO of NC "KazMunayGas" JSC available to all residents of Kazakhstan, as well as to cover the maximum number of retail and institutional investors

It will be possible to buy shares in different ways, even without leaving home: for this purpose it is planned to use the digital infrastructure of Kazpost, stock exchanges and brokers, as well as the official mobile application Tabys.
